“ This place has become my family's favorite Italian restaurant on the west side. Superb food. Favorites include cacio e pepe, asparagus soup, sea scallops and the fresh pasta. Their specials are all very special! Service is attentive. Atmosphere is warm but not at all stuffy. Always a lovely night out at Osteria Vera. ”
“ I had the pleasure of dining here last night, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious! I started with the “Crudo di Hamachi,” which was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. For my main course, I enjoyed the “Wild Boar Ragu Pasta,” one of their specials, and it was nothing short of perfection — rich, hearty, and full of flavor. A big thank you to Chef Nicola for the exceptional dishes and to Natalie and Jean for their excellent service and spot-on recommendations. Their warmth and attentiveness made the night even more memorable. I’m already looking forward to my next visit! ”

“ At this small, neighborhood restaurant, pasta is the star of the show. If you can, get the black truffle gnocchi, which features large, decadent pillows full of cheese and truffle, and the cacio e Pepe, which is made table side in a cheese wheel. (I’d recommend skipping the bolognese.) ”
“ Finally decided to try this restaurant and what a great surprise! The place is cozy, not that big with an open kitchen. You can see the chef and the team. There are some seats outside and few options at the bar. There are various wine options and some spritz and beers. I have only tried a few things from the menu: the crispy brussels sprouts that I really enjoyed. For my entrée, I decide to go with their popular Cacio e pepe. They come to the table and start doing final preparation in the cheese. The pasta were delicious. Cooked perfectly. I truly enjoyed it. Saw some other plates that looked very good - like some of meat ones. Other starters did look good and I will have to try it next time. For the dessert, we got the lava cake and panacotta. It was great as well. You might not see this place by just passing by, but I strongly recommend for you to try it if you are looking for a nice Italian spot. The whole team there was extremely kind and nice. They really make you feel welcome, and they take the time to come and chat with you, which is very enjoyable. Thank you, and we will be back! ”
“ Impeccable service, amazing dishes, great wine list, will be chasing this feeling for years to come! Found this little place on a whim and what an absolute gem of a spot. Close to The Getty, somehow classy and upscale without being stuffy, very fast service despite a full house. Valet was clearly the better option but there is parking on street. 10/10 will be back. The chef made me a superb vegan tofu dish in a sweet potato puree, with mushrooms and artichokes, along with an asparagus soup and salad. The manager and maître d Jean was delightful, attentive, warm and welcoming. What a delightful evening we had. ”
